Image to URL (internally, Uplink) uploads an image and hands you back a hosted link, copied straight to your clipboard. It’s the fastest way to share a screenshot in a chat, a prompt, or a pull request without saving files or opening an uploader.

Open it

Press U from any app, or choose Image to URL from the Dax menu.

Use it

1

Add an image

Drag an image into the window, paste one from your clipboard, or pick a file.
2

Let Dax upload

Dax uploads the image and generates a hosted URL.
3

Paste the link

The link is on your clipboard — paste it wherever you need it.
Grab a region with 4 first — the capture lands on your clipboard, and Image to URL turns it into a link in one paste.

Great for

  • Sharing a screenshot with a teammate in Slack or a PR
  • Feeding an image URL to an AI tool that takes links instead of uploads
  • Dropping a visual reference into a prompt
