Fanout triggers one profile and Dax opens a terminal in each of its repos with your coding agent already running, tiled side by side — a whole dev setup in one keystroke. Works fully offline.

Open it

Press D from any app.

How it works

1

Build a profile

In Settings → Tools → Fanout, name your profile and add the repos you work on together. Drag folders in or use Add Repos….
2

Pick a profile

Press D and choose a profile.
3

Work across repos

Dax opens one terminal per repo, cds into each, starts your agent, and tiles the new windows across the screen.

Per-profile options

  • Agent command — what runs in every repo’s terminal (defaults to claude; pick from the Agents menu or type your own). Each repo can override it.
  • YOLO — add the agent’s skip-permissions flag.
  • Also skip Claude’s folder-trust prompt — mark each folder trusted so Claude drops straight in (a backup of ~/.claude.json is saved first).
  • Arrange — how the new windows are tiled (e.g. side by side). Tiling uses Dax’s existing Accessibility access and falls back to just opening the terminals if it can’t place them.

Privacy

Entirely local. It opens terminals and runs your chosen command on your Mac; nothing is sent anywhere.
